Need game ideas for my child’s birthday party. There will be lots of toddlers and preschoolers. Any ideas?

My baby is only turning one, but there will be lots of 2-4 year olds (including my own toddlers). This is a November party, but the weather report says it will be sunny and not too chilly. I have no idea what to do with these little munchkins! Any ideas for me? Arts and crafts? Games?

Because it’s in November you can make paper bag turkeys that the children can use as centerpieces on Thanksgiving. You’ll need to do some prep work and need other parents to help. It’s best to have about one adult for every two to three children. Here’s how to make a paper bag turkey

Supplies:
Paper lunch sack
Rubber band
Tape/glue
Googley eyes
Lots of newspaper (have the guests bring a newspaper with them)
Construction paper cut into long oval shapes, small triangles, and turkey gobble shapes(you might want to do this yourself before the party)
Crayons/markers/colored pencils.

Take your paper bag and fill it up with crumpled pieces of newspaper. You want it to be pretty fat. Leave a little bit of room at the top.
Take the top and pinch it closed, securing it with a rubber band. This is your turkey’s head. You can also use construction paper to create a head and put that in the opening of the bag before adding the rubber band.
Allow the children to decorate each of the oval “feathers” with crayons and then tape them to the bottom of the bag to make the turkey’s tail.
Attach the beak, gobble, and eyes to the turkey’s head.
If the kids want to decorate the turkey’s body, allow them to do so.
DONE!!!
